Full Job Description

Test Architects
Need resources who will function as Test Architects/Managers. Minimum 8 years in QA/Testing experience. This person will lead project test teams for large-scale, complex initiatives. The Test Architect is also responsible for developing testing standards, processes, templates, investigating testing tools, and ensuring compliance.

The Test Architects will plan, manage, and execute all the Test activities of a systems development project, including:
- Test Planning - Lead and perform test plan development; presentation or articles on the topic of test planning; attended related testing conferences
- Use of Test Tools - Performance of testing using 1) capture/playback tools for automated regression testing; 2) defect tracking tools; 3) performance/load testing tools to perform stress testing; 4) manual tools such as check lists, test scripts, and decision tables; use of other test tools; providing technical support for test tools in a test organization; facilitating test tool usage in an organization; training members of an organization in the operation of test tools; evaluating test tools for purchase
- Test Case Design - designing test cases based on a written statement of requirements; designing test cases based on software structure; designing test cases based on business or operational scenarios
- Test Performance (execution) - experience in executing tests; serving as a member of an independent test team; leading a test project team or organization; designing and deploying a test execution process; training members of an organization in how to perform testing
- Defect Management - serving as defect administrator; designing and deploying a defect management process; creating a defect management tool; serving as liaison between developers, business analysts, and end-users to resolve defects; reporting defect information to management
- Risk Analysis - Performance of risk analysis for a project or system; attendance of related testing conferences/seminars that discuss risk assessment; presentation or article on the topic of risk analysis
- Test Measurement - collecting test measurements; designing and deploying a test measurement process; creating a test measurement capture tool; reporting test measurements to management; attending related conferences/seminars; presentation or article on the topic of test measurements
- Establishing and Maintaining a Test Environment - developing a statement of requirements for a test environment; designing a test environment; creating or coordinating the creation of a test environment; performing ongoing maintenance of a test environment (e.g. updating test data, adding new test data and test cases, maintaining test data, coordinating new modules or tables to be added to the test environment); performing configuration management for a test environment
