SUMMARY

Technical consultant with nearly 13 years of SAP consulting experience. Over the last nine years, worked as an independent consultant participating in SAP implementations for major corporations, including Shell Chemical Company, Ericsson, Fossil, CompUSA and Lennox. During the previous four years, served as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers specializing in SAP implementations. Clients during this time included Anheuser Busch, Storage Tek, and American Airlines. Overall, have extensive experience with:
• SAP development: IDocs, BAPI’s, dialog programming, ALV reporting, SAPscript and SmartForms, BDC programming, LSMW, user exits, general ABAP programming;
• SAP modules: SD, MM, FI/CO, WM, PS, HR, SM and Basis;
• System development life cycle activities (systems strategy, analysis, design, construction, testing, database performance tuning, security profile development, and post implementation support);
• Project management (planning organizing and controlling the effort).

Have excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills. Web development skills include knowledge of ASP, VBscript and SQL Server.

PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE

December 2006 - present
Client: Central Garden & Pet
Developer (SAP version ECC 5.0)

Main responsibilities:
• Designed and developed interfaces, reports, forms and conversions for multiple SAP rollouts. Work centered on SD, MM, FI, PP and WM modules.


July 2006 – December 2006
Client: Intervoice
Lead Developer (SAP version ECC 5.0)

Main responsibilities:
• Provided development support to SAP implementation. Work centered on Smartforms, Interfaces, Conversions, ALV reporting and classic ABAP programming in SD, MM and FI modules.
• Responsible for managing development workload and keeping project management informed on status, prioritizing and assigning tasks, and trouble-shooting technical issues.
• Cross-trained Intervoice employees with daily ABAP training sessions.


June 2005 – June 2006
Client: Ericsson
Lead Developer (SAP version ECC 5.0)

Main responsibilities:
• Designed and developed a B2B interface with Ericsson’s biggest customer. Scope of work included receiving Orders, sending back Order Confirmations, and receiving Order Changes electronically via IDocs (EDI 850, 855 and 860). Development work included setting up custom process codes, configuring the partner profile and creating custom IDoc processing function modules to tailor the solution to the project’s needs. Additionally, a dialog screen was created to view the inbound IDoc data and manually accept/reject order changes and trigger the Order Confirmation (855) process.
• Led the effort to migrate business data from one SAP system to another. Work included gathering requirements, designing conversion programs, leading the development and testing effort. Work was performed for the FI/CO, SD, MM and PS modules.


May 2004 – June 2005
Client: Fossil
Lead Developer (AFS Version 3.0B)

Main responsibilities:
• Led the effort to design and implement several system enhancements in the SD, MM, FI and HR areas using BAPIs, IDocs, ALE, Smartforms, ALV reports.
• Designed interface that used the Business Connector to retrieve exchange rates from a third party server and update SAP using a BAPI.
• Designed and developed interface to update SAP sales order after the posting of an inbound delivery IDoc. Sales order update was done using a BAPI.
• Providing on-going production support to Fossil’s global SAP system.


January 2004 – March 2004
Client: Lennox
Developer (SAP Version 4.6C)

Main responsibilities:
• Led the effort to design and implement several SD interfaces and forms that were completed on time and under budget. Extended IDocs and developed RFC’s. Also enhanced several SAPscript forms.
• Providing support and enhancements to Lennox’s global SAP system.


January 2002 – December 2003
Client: Ericsson
Developer (SAP Version 4.6B)

Main responsibilities:
• Led the effort to design and implement several global HR interfaces that were completed on time and under budget.
• Providing support and enhancements to Ericsson’s global SAP systems. Work was performed in the HR, SD, FI/CO, MM, and PS modules, including Variant Configurator data.


September 2001 – December 2001
Client: Shell Chemical
Lead Developer (SAP Version 3.1H)

Main responsibilities:
• Led the effort to design and implement SD and MM interfaces from SAP to the Chemical Industry’s E-Marketplace Portal (called Elemica) using IDocs. Data interfaced included invoice, delivery, and purchase order information.


March 2000 – August 2001
Client: Ericsson
Technical Manager (SAP Version 4.6B)

Main responsibilities:
• Technical manager for 4.6B upgrade project: developed and managed cutover plan; developed and managed development testing strategy; assisted in all test problem resolutions; coordinated 4.6 GUI testing; coordinated all OSS and Service Package applications; developed and coordinated performance tuning plan; managed security testing plan.
• Integration manager for all follow-on projects, responsible for bridging the gaps between the functional, technical, and Basis teams. Work was performed in the HR, SD, FI/CO, MM, and PS modules.


January 2000 – March 2000
Client: CompUSA
Developer (SAP Version 4.5A/4.6B)

Main responsibilities:
• Assisting with the SAP software upgrade from version 4.5A to version 4.6B. Duties include testing custom reports, interfaces, and user exits to ensure compatibility with new release.
• Gathering user requirements, compiling detailed design, and constructing performance measurement reports for company executives.


January 1999 – January 2000
Client: Primedia Workplace Learning (ASAP Implementation)
Development Manager/Lead Developer (SAP Version 4.0B)

Main responsibilities:
• Responsible for receiving all development requests, assessing the complexity and priority of each, and assigning them to the available resources. Developed and maintained the development work plan, providing status reports to project management on a weekly basis.
• Designed and developed interfaces, reports, and forms. Work centered on SD, MM, FI, and SM.
• Responsible for cross-training Primedia employees through personal assistance and weekly information sessions.


August 1998 – January 1999
Client: American Airlines
Developer (SAP Version 3.1H)

Main responsibilities:
• Gathered user requirements, compiled detailed design, constructed and tested HR payroll reports.
• Provided post-production support for the largest payroll implementation in the world.


July 1997 – July 1998
Client: Ericsson
Development Manager (SAP Version 3.1H)

Main responsibilities:
• Team lead for a development team of 11 developers. Main responsibilities included developing and managing the development work plan, providing technical guidance and expertise to the development team. Other duties included compiling the ABAP/4 Development Standards and SAP Naming Conventions documents; developing the design document templates for conversions, interfaces and reports; and developing the reporting strategy and the FTP strategy for all interfaces.
• Set up ALE to be used to transport materials, customers, vendors, and Variant Configurator data from one system to another.


February 1996 – July 1997
Client: Storage Tek
Developer (SAP Version 3.1H)

Main responsibilities:
• Designed and constructed the architecture to be used in interfacing SAP with various legacy systems. This architecture was centered on a third-party software (Autosys) that monitored the interface processes.
• Developed SD, MM, and FI interface programs in ABAP/4.


February 1995 – February 1996
Client: Anheuser Busch
Developer (SAP Version 2.2G)

Main responsibilities:
• Developed a process to transfer transaction and customizing data between multiple SAP systems using RFCs, CALL TRANSACTION statements, direct table manipulations, etc. This process was demonstrated at the 1995 SAPHIRE Conference.
• Developed utilities to assist in the support of the Basis Administration area, including developing a process to automate Correction and Transport.
• Provided support to developers including program design enhancements and performance improvements.
