My areas of expertise span requirements engineering, software quality management, business process re-engineering, information technology planning, project management, process improvement in the areas of software development and project management, technical training and mentoring, software quality assurance, and object-oriented systems development.
I am familiar with technologies that include end-user business systems, client/server & multi-tier architecture, and object-oriented analysis, design, development, and quality assurance.
I have project experience in the following industries: financial, banking, medical records, resource management, telecommunications, textiles, aerospace, state and federal government, DOT, and DOD.
- EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
11/2001 – 3/2002 SRA International (Senior member of professional staff)
Managed the SRA on-customer site teams responsible for network security, configuration management, and performance reporting. Duties included:
- maintain C2 security certification
- establish, execute, and monitor industry best practices in configuration management processes for hardware, software, and data.
- establish and manage change management processes to ensure a quality operations environment.
- design and develop, and deploy an automated workflow quality management system.
- establish methodology driven work breakdown structure process to manage cross-discipline project activities.

- Developed and delivered courseware for the graduate project quality management certification program at UT/SQI. This is a 14 month evening program that covers all aspects of project management. It is targeted at working professionals and taught by industry experts.

- Developed curriculum for the Texas State Technical College (Waco, TX). Utilized the DACOM dynamic group process to define and document the Computer Science curriculum to be implemented in school year 2001.
11/1989 – 5/2001 Concero Inc., Austin TX (formerly PSW Technologies) (Chief Methodologist, Manager of Engineering, Program Manager, Project Manager, Architect)
- As one of the founders of this start-up technical services company, I have served in many roles including Chief Methodologist, Manager of Engineering, Senior Project Manager, and Senior Architect.
- Developed and managed a Project Management Office that provided mentoring, processes, standards, metrics and training for enterprise and customer projects.
- Established corporate methodology and metrics programs for software development and project quality management. The goals of these programs were to assist in sizing, staffing, and measuring progress of projects.
